**late again! my bad! This one's kind of short too! Hope you enjoy!**
“And that is why the setup of the stage for our one-act play should be set mostly in the left side of the apron.” Laura finished. We all politely clapped.
“Well done Laura. I’ll take your proposal into account. OK! We’ll resume presentations next class. For the remainder of class, you may work on homework or chat with your friends.”
Laura hopped off the stage and walked towards the audience. I only really got to be down by the stage in class. Tech theatre was my favorite period of the day. I only got two electives this year, one of which was tech theatre. For some strange reason, Ms. Reynolds decided that she’d mix it up, and there are a lot of tech kids in acting theatre, and a lot of theatre kids in tech. SO I ended up in advanced theatre, without having to audition. The actors were livid. Whatever. It's not like I participated anyways. What I was mad about is that there were snobby actors in my tech class, which was supposed to be my safe theatre Haven, away from the divas.
“Does ANYONE have a phone charger!?” Kelli screamed across the classroom.
“I think I do… Hold on.” Responded Laura. She rummaged through her bag. “Here.” She smiled and handed Kelli the charger.
“Thanks. When do you-”
“Everybody SHUT UP! I’m on the phone!” Audrey interrupted Kelli and continued to pace the room, phone against her face. “Jack? Hello? Yeah, I’m still here. Four sounds great! Oh and invite Libby too. I need her help with something...Love you too! See you then!”
I looked over at Emma in time to see her roll her eyes across the theatre. She was curled up in one of the chairs looking at her phone. I felt someone nudge my shoulder from the next chair. I looked over, and saw Jay smirk and mouth “watch me.” They climbed over the seats a couple rows to where Tammy was watching makeup videos on youtube.
“ARGGHHHH!” Jay yelled right in her ear.
“AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!” Tammy screamed, and jumped what felt like a foot in the ear. Jay ducked behind the seat.
“Jay! I see you there! You scared me! Why would you do that!?” Tammy stood over them, glaring.
“Oh hello Tammy, I didn’t see you there. I just dropped my pencil.” We all laughed a bit. It may have been a little mean, but Tammy was just awful. And Jay was the only one who picked on her.
